  1. Union Minister of State for Science and Technology, Dr. Jitendra Singh, today inaugurated the state-of-the-art Phenome India ‘National Biobank’ at the CSIR-Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology in New Delhi.

  8. The Nagarik Unmukti Party has decided to withdraw its support to the K P Sharma Oli-led coalition government in Nepal. The Nagarik Unmukti Party (NUP), a key Madhesi party, has four seats in Parliament. However, its withdrawal of support to the Oli government is unlikely to affect the stability of the coalition.
  9. In Boxing, India’s Sakshi Chaudhary has clinched the gold medal in the women’s 54kg category at the World Boxing Cup in Astana. She defeated USA’s Yoseline Perez with a dominant 5-0 unanimous decision in the final.

Harvinder Singh, World No. 1 and Paralympics champion, secured two gold medals at the Beijing 2025 Asian Para Archery Championships on Sunday, leading India to second place in the medal standings behind China. India finished with three gold, three silver, and three bronze medals, while China topped with ten gold, four silver, and three bronze medals.
