- Indian Railways has launched Kavach 4.0 on the Mathura-Kota section of the Delhi-Mumbai corridor. Designed at the highest safety level (SIL 4), it monitors train speeds, applies brakes automatically, and provides cabin-based signal information.
- The Western Railway has resumed operations of its 9.5 km metre-gauge heritage train on the iconic Patalpani–Kalakund line in Madhya Pradesh. Services had been briefly suspended earlier due to a decline in tourist footfall. With its rich history and breathtaking scenic views, the train remains a major attraction for heritage tourism enthusiasts.
- special court on Monday accepted the Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) closure report in a graft case against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Satyendar Jain in awarding a tender to a private company during his tenure as the Public Works Department Minister, noting that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe “found no illegal gains or wrongful loss to the government”, thus proving there was no conspiracy or corruption.

- BrahMos Aerospace to establish an 800-acre advanced missile manufacturing unit in Andhra Pradesh, which will produce new variants, including hypersonic missiles, for Indian armed forces and for export.

- Tennis Star Novak Djokovic has withdrawn from the Cincinnati Open. According to the organisers, Djokovic was scheduled to make his first hard-court appearance since his semifinal defeat at Wimbledon in July, cited non-medical reasons for his withdrawal.
