  1. The President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, graced the convocation ceremony of Ravenshaw University at Cuttack, Odisha.The President Smt Droupadi Murmu, while on 600th birth anniversary of Adikabi Sarala Das, a great Odia poet and scholar said that the students should acquire education in their mother tongue. She said this will not only preserve our rich Indian culture but also uphold the deep-rooted tradition. She is on an official visit to Cuttack, Odisha.

The crew will now undergo a seven-day rehabilitation program to adjust to Earth’s gravity.
    Sudanese-Scottish author Leila Aboulela has won the 2025 PEN Pinter Prize for her powerful writing on migration, faith, and the lives of Muslim women. The award was announced by English PEN in London and will be officially given in October at the British Library.
