- The Jan Man Survey launched on the Narendra Modi App or NaMo App, on completion of 11 years of the Narendra Modi government in office, has quickly gained significant traction with over five lakh responses from citizens across the country in a single day.
- India’s first underwater museum and artificial coral reef will be developed around the decommissioned warship INS Guldar near Nivati Rocks at Vengurla in Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis attended the initiation of the project virtually.
- Punjab state government has decided to recruit 200 psychologists, with immediate effect, to provide essential assistance and counselling to individuals striving to overcome drug addiction. The Cabinet Sub-Committee on ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’ (War Against Drugs), a campaign launched by the state government to weed out drugs from Punjab, took this decision.
- Union Coal and Mines Minister and Telangana BJP State president G. Kishan Reddy inaugurated the newly installed façade lighting at Kacheguda railway station in Hyderabad. Kachiguda is a Gothic-style structure built in 1916 during the Nizam era. The historic station has been illuminated with 785 fixtures, installed by the Ministry of Tourism for 2.23 crore rupees.
- Delhi to host India’s first e-waste recycling park in Holambi Kalan, aiming to process 51,000 tonnes of e-waste annually. The eco park will promote green jobs, circular economy, and formalize the recycling sector.
- The Government of India has launched the Ayush Nivesh Saarthi Portal, a digital platform made to attract and guide investors in the Ayush sector. This portal was developed by the Ministry of Ayush in partnership with invest India. This is to Promote Investment in Traditional Medicine Sector.
- The State Bank of India (SBI) pays a record ₹8,076.84 crore dividend to the Government of India for FY25 after posting a net profit of ₹70,901 crore.
- The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is considering the launch of a public infrastructure investment trust (InvIT). This initiative aims to enhance public funding for its asset monetisation pipeline. The proposal follows the successful launch of a private InvIT that has already monetised over 2,300 km of highways.
