  1. India’s ‘Tiger Man’ Valmik Thapar died at his residence. Valmik Thapar was one of India’s most eminent wildlife conservationists and authors who devoted his life to the protection of tigers. He was 73 and had been diagnosed with cancer in 2024.
  2. The Supreme Court on Friday issued directions that the post-graduate medical entrance exam scheduled on June 15 be conducted in a single shift, saying holding it in two shifts ‘creates arbitrariness’.
  3. Paraguay President Santiago Peña Palacios will pay a three day state visit to India from 2 June to 04 June.
  4. Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with President of Asian Development Bank Masato Kanda in New Delhi on Sunday.
