  1.  President Smt Droupadi Murmu conferred the 58th Jnanpith Award to Sanskrit scholar Jagadguru Rambhadracharya at a function in New Delhi. Jagadguru Rambhadracharya and the renowned Urdu poet and lyricist Gulzar have been selected for this prestigious award for 2023.
  2.  A 16th- century stepwell, Rajon ki Baoli located at Mehrauli Archaeological Park in New Delhi has been restored by Archaeological Survey of India . It resto by ASI in collaboration with the World Monuments Fund India and the TCS Foundation.
  3. Sikkim marks 50th Statehood Day with grand celebrations. Before it was called as Kingdom of Sikkim, Admission to union of India on 16 May 1975.
