- A Tiranga Yatra titled- ‘Shourya Samman Yatra’ was organised in the National Capital from Kartavya Path to War Memorial at India Gate. This is for especially dedicated to celebrate the valour of India’s Armed Forces after the success of “Operation Sindoor”.
- Union Minister of State in PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh has announced construction of 600 new bunkers for border residents of Hiranagar sector in Jammu & Kashmir.
- Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw inaugurated two new state-of-the-art design facilities, located in Noida and Bengaluru.

- Former defence secretary Ajay Kumar was on Tuesday appointed as chairman of the UPSC. The post of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) chairman fell vacant after the completion of Preeti Sudan’s tenure on April 29.

- The death toll from the hooch tragedy has climbed to 21, with several others still hospitalized in Punjab. The incident occurred in the Majitha constituency of Amritsar, where people from four villages consumed spurious liquor made from ethanol.
- India’s retail inflation eased to 3.16 percent in April from 3.34 percent in March, driven by significant easing in food prices. It is the lowest year-on-year inflation after July, 2019.

- Sussan Ley has been appointed as the leader of the Liberal Party who become the first woman to lead the federal party of Australia in its 80-year history. She defeated her rival, Angus Taylor, in a tight party room ballot, taking over as Australia’s first female opposition leader.
- Israeli-American hostage Edan Alexander arrived in Israel after being released by Hamas. He was held in Hamas captivity in Gaza for 19 Months. Alexander was released following direct talks between Washington and Hamas.
- Jeevan Tara from Arunachal Pradesh won a gold medal in the 13th Senior National Pencak Silat Championship-2025 which concluded in Lucknow of Uttar Pradesh.
