1. PM Unveils Asia’s Tallest 77-ft Lord Ram Statue in Goa. Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Canacona, Goa, to unveil a 77-feet bronze statue of Lord Ram, the tallest in Asia. The event took place at Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Mutt as part of its 550-year celebrations. A commemorative coin and postal stamp were also released during the Sardha Panchashatamahotsava.
2. Cabinet Approves ₹7,280-Crore Scheme for Rare Earth Magnet Manufacturing. The Cabinet approved a ₹7,280 crore scheme to promote manufacturing of sintered rare earth permanent magnets. The initiative aims to establish 6,000 metric tonnes of annual integrated production capacity and strengthen India’s strategic materials and electronics ecosystem.
3. PM Modi Inaugurates Safran Aircraft Engine Services Facility in Hyderabad. PM Modi inaugurated Safran Aircraft Engine Services India (SAESI) in Hyderabad. This marks the first time India hosts a global aircraft engine OEM’s MRO operations, giving a major boost to the nation’s aviation maintenance sector.
