1. CP Radhakrishnan Sworn in as 15th Vice President of India. C.P. Radhakrishnan took oath as India’s 15th Vice President at Rashtrapati Bhavan. President Droupadi Murmu administered the oath. He also became ex-officio Chairman of the Rajya Sabha. He succeeds Jagdeep Dhankhar, who resigned due to health reasons.
2. New Testing Lab for Power Equipment in Nashik. Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar inaugurated a Regional Testing Laboratory at Central Power Research Institute, Nashik. The facility will test transformers, smart meters, and advanced power equipment. It supports Make in India by reducing imports of certified devices. The lab will also aid industries in faster product approvals.
3. Tribal Affairs Ministry Launches “Adi Sanskriti” Digital Platform. The Ministry of Tribal Affairs launched the Beta Version of Adi Sanskriti.
