World Radio Day 2026 is being observed today on 13th February to commemorate the establishment of the United Nations Radio in 1946. India’s trade surplus with the United States may cross 90 billion dollars annually after the new trade deal. A research report released by the State Bank of India (SBI) stated that this rise could generate an additional surplus of at least 45 billion dollars per year, equal to 1.1% of India’s GDP.
It may save nearly 3 billion dollars in foreign exchange reserves. SBI Chief Economic Adviser Soumya Kanti Ghosh said Indian exporters could increase exports of the top 15 items by 97 billion dollars yearly. Meanwhile, the EU trade deal opened a 260 billion dollar textile market with zero duty.

The CBSE will implement On-Screen Marking (OSM) for evaluating Class 12 answer books from this year onwards. However, it will continue the physical evaluation system for Class 10 as before. CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj stated that the board introduced OSM to improve efficiency, speed, and transparency in evaluation.
