1. Massive Projects in Bihar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development projects worth about ₹40,000 crore in Bihar. These projects cover railways, airports, electricity, and water infrastructure, particularly aimed at uplifting the Seemanchal region. He also mentioned that over 40,000 beneficiaries have received permanent housing under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

2. Doordarshan Turns 66 with Cultural Tribute

Doordarshan will celebrate its 66th foundation day on 15 September 2025 with a special cultural programme “Shabdanjali: DD@66”. The event will take place at Rang Bhawan, Akashvani Bhawan, New Delhi.

3. Global Tech Standard-Setting in New Delhi.

India will host the 89th General Meeting of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) from 15-19 September 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Over 2,000 experts from more than 100 countries will attend. India will act as Global Secretariat for standardization in Low Voltage Direct Current (LVDC).
