- PM Modi’s flagship initiative, Pariksha Pe Charcha has been conferred with the Guinness World Record for the ‘Most people registered on a Citizen Engagement Platform in one month’. This recognition is a testament of achievement made with three crore 53 lakh registrations during the eight editions of the programme, hosted on the MyGov platform.
- The first-ever BIMSTEC Traditional Music Festival was held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
- Telangana state has held the maximum number of organ donations in the country. The Centre has awarded the state government for the same at an event observing the National Organ Donation Day in Delhi. Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda presented the award to representatives of the state’s Jeevandan programme recently.
- The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has launched ‘Apna Ghar’, a nationwide initiative providing truck drivers with hygienic and safe resting spaces. As of July 2025, 368 units with 4,611 beds have been set up across highways, offering dormitories, dhabas, clean toilets, bathing areas and cooking.
- The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is planning to launch its first LVM3 rocket equipped with a semi-cryogenic propulsion stage in 2027.The LVM3, also known as the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle MK-III (GSLV MK-III), is currently a three-stage heavy-lift launch vehicle that had its first experimental flight in December 2014.
- India has achieved the second rank globally in fish production, with a 103% growth in 2024–25 compared to 2013–14, announced Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh in Kolkata.

- The Philippine and Indian navies have commenced their first-ever joint patrols in the disputed South China Sea, marking a significant strategic development amid ongoing regional tensions. The joint naval operation, a two-day sail involving three Indian warships alongside Philippine naval vessels, began on Sunday, just ahead of Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s scheduled visit to India. The Indian Navy and Republic of Singapore Navy have successfully finished the sea phase of exercise SIMBEX-25 in the South China Sea.
- Indian peacekeepers, including 12 women serving in South Sudan, were recently honoured with United Nations medals for their exemplary service in protecting civilians and humanitarian convoys under the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS).A total of 838 Indian Blue Helmets received these medals, recognising their dedication to maintaining peace in challenging environments.

This virtual environment replicates realistic drone warfare scenarios, allowing users to practice handling different anti-drone rifles such as the “Pars” and “Harpy,” drone detection systems including “Bulat” version 3.

- Around three thousands Boeing union workers in US went on a strike after a contract negotiations with the company broke down. The strike move was earlier announced after members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) rejected a modified four-year labour agreement with Boeing.
