1. Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw inaugurated the Vinod Dham Centre of Excellence for Semiconductors and Microelectronics at Delhi Technological University.

4. Three key bills passed by J&K Assembly get Governor’s assent : The Jammu and Kashmir Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2025 (L.A. Bill No. 1 of 2025), The Jammu and Kashmir Appropriation Bill, 2025 (L.A. Bill No. 2 of 2025) and The Jammu and Kashmir Appropriation Bill, 2025 (L.A. Bill No. 3 of 2025).

5. The Indian government is implementing the ‘One State, One RRB’ policy to streamline rural banking operations by reducing the number of Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) from 43 to 28. This consolidation aims to enhance operational efficiency, reduce inter-bank competition, and improve rural credit and service delivery

6. Delhi has officially become the 35th state to adopt the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY), marking a pivotal moment for the national capital. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta expressed her happiness, calling it a historic move that would now benefit Delhi’s residents.

7. Defence Ministry inks 2385 crore rupee contract with Bharat Electronics Limited to acquire Electronic Warfare and modernisation equipment for Mi-17 V5 helicopters.

8. A tri-services all women Circumnavigation Sailing Expedition, “Samudra Pradakshina” from Mumbai to Seychelles and back was flagged off by Lt Gen AK Ramesh, Commandant, College of Military Engineering from the Indian Naval Watermanship Training Centre, Colaba in Mumbai.The expedition, featuring an all-women 12-member crew from the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force, embarked on a challenging 55-day voyage covering 4,000 nautical miles from Mumbai to Seychelles and back aboard the IASV Triveni.

9. 11th edition of the Pondicherry Heritage Festival began with a colorful celebration of traditional culture through ‘Veedhi Vilayattu’ (Street Games) in the Tamil Quarter of Puducherry.

10. The Next Generation Launch Vehicle (NGLV), internally named Soorya, is ISRO’s ambitious medium-to-super heavy-lift launch vehicle currently under development. Designed to support India’s growing space exploration and commercial launch needs, the NGLV incorporates cutting-edge features such as a three-stage configuration with nine engines in the first stage and two in the second stage, utilising LOX/CH4 propellants.

11. President Smt Droupadi Murmu holds delegation-level talks with her Portuguese counterpart Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa in Lisbon; Both leaders agree to strengthen partnership in several areas including trade, renewable energy, IT and skilled mobility.
