  1. The Punjab cabinet on Saturday decided to appoint the chief secretary as the chairman of all local development boards in the state. The CM will effectively transferring this responsibility from the chief minister who traditionally held this role.
  2. IGNOU Degree Not Required To Have Equivalence Certificate From State University as direction of Kerala High Court. If courses offered by Central Universities are required to have equivalence certificate from State Universities, it will be the end of education system, the Court said.
