- Padma Shri K.V. Rabia, an inspirational literacy activist from Kerala, passed away at the age of 59 (May 4) while undergoing treatment. Despite battling severe health conditions such as polio, cancer, and spinal injury, Rabia dedicated her life to social service and women’s education.
