1. The BJP and AIADMK on Friday sealed a poll alliance, with Union Home Minister Amit Shah declaring that the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly election will be fought under the leadership of AIADMK chief Edappadi K Palaniswami.
2. Union Health Minister JP Nadda launched the Ayushman Bharat Yojana in Odisha. Launching the scheme at Bali Yatra Ground in Cuttack, he said as many as 61 crore people in the country are availing of the scheme’s benefits.

5. The first edition of the biannual Naval Commanders’ Conference 2025 concluded in New Delhi. The week-long apex-level conference was held in two phases at Karwar, Karnataka and New Delhi. It engaged the commanders in deliberations on security challenges in the maritime domain and review of Indian Navy’s operational preparedness.
6. The 8th Meeting of Joint Committee on ASEAN-India Trade in Goods Agreement (AITIGA) which was hosted by India, concluded. The five-day meeting held in New Delhi, was co-chaired by Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Rajesh Agrawal.
