1. Agreement signed for Frontier Nagaland Territorial Authority (FNTA)
The Central Government, Nagaland Government and the Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) signed an agreement to form the Frontier Nagaland Territorial Authority (FNTA). The agreement was signed in New Delhi in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Consequently, the move aims to strengthen regional governance, development and administrative inclusion in Eastern Nagaland.
2. Amit Shah launches cooperative-based ride-hailing platform ‘Bharat Taxi’
Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah launched India’s first cooperative-based ride-hailing platform Bharat Taxi in New Delhi. The initiative promotes cooperative entrepreneurship and provides an alternative to private cab aggregators. Therefore, it strengthens rural employment, ensures fair earnings for drivers and supports the cooperative economy under the Sahkar se Samriddhi vision.
