1. Indian Navy wins Best Marching Contingent at Republic Day Parade 2026
The results of the Best Marching Contingents and Best Tableaux of Republic Day Parade 2026 were announced. Among the three Services, the Indian Navy was adjudged the Best Marching Contingent. Meanwhile, Delhi Police won in the Central Armed Police Forces category, reflecting excellence in parade discipline and presentation.
2. Maharashtra tableau wins first prize in States category
In the States and Union Territories category, Maharashtra secured first place for its tableau ‘Ganeshotsav: A Symbol of Aatmanirbharta’. Jammu & Kashmir stood second for Handicrafts and Folk Dances, while Kerala ranked third for showcasing Water Metro and 100% Digital Literacy under Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
