1. PM Modi Visits Karnataka and Goa for Major Religious & Cultural Events. Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Udupi to offer prayers at Sri Krishna Matha, join the Laksha Kantha Gita Parayana, and inaugurate Suvarna Teertha Mantapa. In Goa, he attended the 550th-year celebrations of Partagali Jeevottam Math, unveiled a 77-ft Shri Ram statue, opened the Ramayana Theme Park Garden, and released a special stamp and coin.
2. NHRC Concludes 4th National Online Internship Programme. The National Human Rights Commission concluded its 4th Online Short-Term Internship Programme with 80 university students from 16 states and UTs completing the training. The programme began on 10 November and focused on human rights awareness.
3. PM Modi Unveils Vikram-I, India’s First Private Orbital Rocket. PM Modi announced the opening of India’s nuclear sector to private players and unveiled Vikram-I, the country’s first privately developed orbital rocket by Skyroot Aerospace. He inaugurated Skyroot’s Infinity Campus in Hyderabad through video conferencing.
4. President Murmu Addresses Odisha Assembly’s Winter Session. President Droupadi Murmu addressed the Odisha Legislative Assembly on the first day of the winter session. She urged lawmakers to work for public welfare and contribute to building a prosperous Odisha by 2036, marking 100 years of the state’s formation.

7. Assam Passes Prohibition of Polygamy Bill 2025. The Assam Legislative Assembly passed the Assam Prohibition of Polygamy Bill, 2025. The legislation creates one of India’s strictest frameworks against polygamy and aims to strengthen women’s rights and marital accountability.
8. DGP–IGP Conference to Focus on Ending Remaining Naxal Threat. India will hold its 60th DGP and IGP Conference in Nava Raipur from 28–30 November. The discussions will focus on eliminating remaining Naxal pockets and strengthening India’s internal security preparedness.
9. Cabinet Clears ₹7,280-Crore Rare Earth Permanent Magnet Scheme. The Union Cabinet approved a ₹7,280 crore scheme to establish an integrated domestic manufacturing ecosystem for Rare Earth Permanent Magnets. The initiative supports high-tech industries and India’s Net Zero 2070 goals.
10. EPFO Forms Committee for Cadre Restructuring. EPFO set up a four-member committee to restructure its cadre. The initiative aims to improve organisational efficiency and provide better services to millions of EPF subscribers.
11. Justice Vikram Nath Appointed NALSA Executive Chairman. President Droupadi Murmu nominated Supreme Court judge Justice Vikram Nath as the Executive Chairman of the National Legal Services Authority to strengthen legal aid delivery nationwide.
12. Cyclonic Storm Ditwah Forms Over Southwest Bay of Bengal. A deep depression over the Bay of Bengal intensified into Cyclone Ditwah, threatening coastal areas of North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh. The system is expected to bring heavy rainfall to delta districts within 24 hours.
13. ED Conducts Nationwide Raids in Medical College Bribery Case. The Enforcement Directorate conducted raids across 15 locations in 10 states in a bribery case involving medical colleges and government officials. ED also arrested WinZO founders for money-laundering charges and NMC rejected SMVDIME’s proposal for 100% AIQ MBBS seats.
14. INS Mahe Commissioned; India Strengthens Naval Presence. The Indian Navy commissioned INS Mahe, the first vessel of the Mahe-class ASW Shallow Water Craft. INS Sahyadri also conducted an exercise with the Philippine Navy before reaching Manila, and India hosted naval engagements with Morocco and Nepal under Exercise Surya Kiran XIX.
15. India Registers Strong Sports Performances Across Events. PM Modi met the Women’s Blind Cricket Team after their T20 World Cup win. Shuttler Tanvi Sharma defeated Nozomi Okuhara to enter the Syed Modi quarters. India defeated New Zealand 3–2 in hockey, won 20 medals at Deaflympics 2025, and claimed two medals at the ITTF World Youth Championships.
