1. India Expands Visa-on-Arrival for UAE Nationals. India extended Visa-on-Arrival access for UAE citizens to nine airports. The step aims to boost tourism, medical travel, business mobility, and deepen India–UAE strategic ties, reflecting stronger diplomatic and economic cooperation.
2. National Fisheries Digital Traceability System Launched. The government introduced a nationwide digital traceability platform for fisheries and aquaculture. It tracks fish from harvest to export, ensuring global quality standards and enhancing India’s competitiveness in markets with strict certification norms.
3. Indo-UK Exercise ‘Ajeya Warrior’ Begins. India and the UK began their joint military exercise “Ajeya Warrior” in Rajasthan. The training focuses on counter-terror operations, village-based combat drills and coordination to improve joint operational readiness.

6. Home Minister Hails Implementation of New Labour Codes. Home Minister Amit Shah praised the nationwide rollout of labour codes, calling them the biggest reform in labour law history.
