1. AMRIT Scheme Marks 10 Years. The AMRIT (Affordable Medicines & Reliable Implants for Treatment) initiative completed a decade. Health Minister J.P. Nadda said the scheme has helped patients save around ₹8,500 crore over ten years.He also inaugurated 10 new AMRIT pharmacies in various medical institutions.

2. VP Inaugurates 30th CII Partnership Summit. Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan inaugurated the 30th CII Partnership Summit at Visakhapatnam. The theme is “Technology, Trust and Trade: Navigating the New Geoeconomic Order.” He pitched India as a top investment hub and praised Andhra Pradesh’s business climate.

3. Major Investment Push in Andhra Pradesh. At the CII summit, leaders emphasised Andhra Pradesh’s pro-business ecosystem. The state aims high with long-term investment goals, especially in technology, defence, and aerospace.

11. Blue Flag Certification for Odisha Beaches. Odisha’s Sunapur and Puri Golden beaches earned the International Blue Flag certification for 2025–26. The award recognises high standards in safety, water quality, environmental management, and eco-education.

12. Significance of Blue Flag Status. Sunapur received the Blue Flag label for the third consecutive year, and Puri’s Golden Beach for the seventh time. This highlights Odisha’s consistent commitment to sustainable coastal tourism.
