- ISRO launches India’s heaviest communication satellite CMS-03. ISRO successfully launched CMS-03, India’s heaviest communication satellite (≈ 4,400 kg), on board the LVM3-M5 from Sriharikota. The advanced multi-band satellite will enhance real-time communication for India’s naval and strategic operations across the Indian Ocean Region. It will provide high-capacity links for military, maritime, and disaster-management communication.
- Delhi government launches ‘Pink Saheli Smart Card’. The Delhi government introduced the Pink Saheli Smart Card, allowing women and transgender commuters to travel free on all DTC and cluster buses. The card aims to strengthen safety, inclusion, and financial independence. It works under the National Common Mobility Card system, ensuring digital ease of travel in the national capital.
- Dr Ankathi Raju appointed Director of DRDL Hyderabad.
