  1. Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis launches Garuda Drishti system to counter social media fraud. The tool monitors and flags hate speech, fake news, drugs, and financial scams, enabling swift action. Developed via Cyber Hack 2025 at low cost, it’s already reviewed thousands of posts, removed hundreds, and helped return ₹10 crore to over 7,400 cyber-fraud victims. IAF veteran Group Captain D K Parulkar (Retd) passes away.Group Captain Dilip Kamalkar Parulkar (Retd), a celebrated 1971 Indo-Pak War hero, passed away near Pune at age 82 due to cardiac arrest. He earned the Vayu Sena Medal in 1965 for flying his damaged aircraft home despite injury, and the Vishisht Seva Medal in 1971 after leading a daring escape from a Pakistani POW camp with two colleagues. He also served as a Flying Instructor at the Air Force Academy.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurates BEML’s BRAHMA rail coach manufacturing hub.Defence Minister Rajnath Singh laid the foundation stone of the ₹1,800-crore BRAHMA (BEML Rail Hub for Manufacturing) project in Umaria village, Raisen district, Madhya Pradesh. Built on over 60 hectares under Make-in-India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives, the plant will produce Vande Bharat, Amrit Bharat, and metro coaches.
